Why Do I Abuse Drugs and Substances? Is This a Disorder?

Question by ?: Why do I abuse drugs and substances? Is this a disorder?
I have a habit of abusing drugs, anything from prescription medicines to hard drugs. I abuse anything like benzos or ketamine or stimulants, anything that gives me a high. Why do I abuse drugs? I have this drug seeking behaviour where I want more and more of the drug. How do I get rid of this? I know that substance abuse is linked to some sort of mental disorder. What is it? How do I stop it?
I have taken psychiatric help in the past. It didn’t help

Are you feeling down? Are things just not going the way you want them to? You might be dependant on drugs to escape from reality if that is the case. You should talk to a psychilogist or drug therapist about your problem, It can get very serious if it isn’t already.

Best of luck 🙂
