Free Drug Rehab: Finding a Free Drug Rehab Without Insurance

Do you find yourself struggling with drug addiction or alcoholism and need help? If you do you are not alone. Millions of Americana enter drug and alcohol treatment centers every year in order address their addiction problem. However, the problem for many addicts is that they do not have the money or insurance to pay for their treatment. At this point finding free drug rehab for people with no insurance is of prime importance.

The fact of the matter is that drug rehab treatment works to help people get their lives back on track after addiction has caused them a number of personal problems. However, alcohol and drug treatment centers are expensive, often costing more than $ 10,000 for a 28 day stay. Many addicts and alcoholics, after years of struggling with chemical dependency, find that they simply do not have the money to pay for this necessary service. They then have to turn to free drug rehab options which, lucky, can often be available if you know where to look.

In order to find free drug and alcohol treatment you are going to have to be proactive. Most treatment centers do not advertise free programs, yet they often exist. You see, many rehabs were started by alcoholics and addicts who understand that their primary objective is helping people. Many of these rehabs let people come stay for free if they are really in need.

The way to find out if a drug rehab center works with a person who can not pay is to simply ask. If you call a dozen rehabs and check out a dozen websites, explaining that you are an addict in need of treatment and that you do not have insurance and can not pay for their services, you will be surprised what you will find. Many addiction counseling centers actually have policies that say that they will never turn away an addict in need based on an inability to pay. So, for this reason, it becomes very important that you start making calls and visiting websites, contacting the rehabs to see if they will work with you.

Many will say that they can help at this time or that they already have their scholarship quota filled. However, many rehabs will be willing to work with you. The most important thing to do is to get off your behind and start making those calls to see what you can find.

At a drug rehab center you can begin to put your life back together and learn the tools to put your addiction problems behind you.
