Question by lollymelinda: “electronic cigarettes”?
Has anyone used these “E” cigarettes, and if so,how have they worked for you? Is there any good websites for people who are quitting to chat “real time” with other quitters?

I smoke an ecig and I love it. I am married to a smoker and his smoking doesn’t bother me at all. All of my friends are smokers and they don’t bother me at all. I can honestly say that when I am surrounded by smokers I don’t have any desire to smoke a cigarette. I also don’t eat myself into a frenzy or act like a nut because I miss my smokes.
I smoked a pack of Parliaments a day for 15 years. Within the first week with my e-cig I was down to 4-6 tobacco cigarettes a day. This was a huge accomplishment and I continued at this pace for the next six months. Then, one day after having misplaced my ecig for two weeks and going full tilt back to tobacco, I noticed I was sick, look pasty and not feeling well at all. I woke up one day and decided that was it. Been on my ecig ever since. I did cheat once and was so sick that it solidified my reason for smoking my ecig. I can honestly say that I will never smoke tobacco again. I hope my ecig is available to me until I do choose to really quit. But if I had to quit, I would be able to with few problems… I hope. 😉
The ecig takes care of the hand to mouth addiction, which for many smokers is far worse than the nicotine addiction. If you are looking for a good place to hang out and learn more, I have a link to my blog and to the best ecig forum online below. You will meet a ton of people who will give you the honest truth about how it works for them.
