Advice on Boyfriends Addiction?

Question by Outgoingnfun2007: advice on boyfriends addiction?
My boyfriend and I have been doing great after 2 years of dating, however I’ve noticed lately he has been taking xanex and vicodin a lot, before he did it every now and then, which bothered me but not enough where I said anything. Well now it is everyday….yesterday he not only took the pills but drank as well…I’m really considering leaving him if things dont stop, which I don’t think they will…he will not listen to me if I tell him he has a problem. I was thinking of calling his brother, which calling him is almost as bad as calling the police…he will probably not have a life after I tell his brother with the way he is…..what should I do?

first you Need to talk to him face to face explain everything to him up front and tell him if he does not stop you will leave him and if he says ok then good but if he says he does not want to quiet just tell his brother i think its better if you act sooner because if he get deeper and deeper into this stuff then it will be really hard on everyone.
