Video Game Addiction – Who Realizes How Bad This Is Becoming?

Question by zoroz: Video Game Addiction – who realizes how bad this is becoming?
I know quite a few people addicted to popular mmorpg’s – I mean, addicted to the point of neglecting friends, family, children, etc. Is anyone else noticing people in their lives affected by video games to the point where they never leave their house and are constantly in front of the computer screen? What are you all doing about it?

Me, but I can’t really do anything about it. I don’t have kids yet and my bf isn’t addicted to it. I have noticed it in schools and high schools, even colleges. I tried to mention it to my friend’s bf who is addicted to any PC or PS2 games, but he doesn’t listen. I don’t know what else I can do?
