What Do You Do When Your Teen Is on Drugs?

Question by Cindy: What do you do when your teen is on drugs?
I just found out that my teen daughter is using several drugs. I was checkin her phone { its a regular check so she knows I’m doing it} and I found messages bluntly saying ” I do drugs now”. Drug addiction runs in the family so we have had all the talks. I can’t believe she is doing this! I know she has been depressed and I think that is where this is coming from.
My question is what do I do? She dosn’t know that I know yet. I plan on talking to her I just don’t know what to say. I am so angry with her. I can’t tell her how I feel. That won’t help at all. Please give me advice on how to hanlde this. Do I need to move? Should I homeschool her[ she hates her school]. Any advice would be helpfull.
Thanks
Ya I know she wants to be home schooled, but my concern is that leaving her home alone for most of the day will make things worse. If she has an empty house she might bring all her friends over and just do drugs. I want to help her in any way possible including homeschool, but I’m not sure what will help and what will make things worse.
Ok so she’s running away from a problem. That sounds right..
